General Hospital Spoilers: Willow’s Dirty Lawsuit Backfires – Lulu’s Secret Weapon?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that the court battle between Boo-Hoo Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Weeping Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) could be difficult for Lulu!

Who will support the investigative reporter in court now that Willow has sued her for defamation?

Key Takeaways

  • Lulu faces Willow’s lawsuit.
  • Several people are angry with Lulu.
  • Sidwell denies his statements.
  • Ric may defend Lulu in court.
  • Carly could come to her rescue.

Elizabeth Baldwin, Lucas Jones, Drew Cain And Britt Westbourne Are All Upset With Lulu

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) are all upset with Lulu, as well as Willow.

Once her exposé went viral, several people who were interviewed claimed they were misquoted.

Even Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), who provided much of the information, claimed what he told Lulu wasn’t true. According to him, it was all his heavy medication talking!

As General Hospital Tea previously reported, Sidwell’s changing story could create serious problems for Lulu’s investigation.

As for Willow, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) encouraged her to sue Lulu for defamation.

He may have even involved Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard), especially if Willow was having trouble finding an attorney willing to represent her.

Lulu was at home after Drew came to complain in person and then left. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Elizabeth were there when Lulu received the summons!

Lulu’s Going To Need Character Witnesses

Lulu may need character witnesses to help defend herself, although the evidence supporting her article will likely be even more important.

After all, Willow’s lawsuit challenges Lulu’s reporting and the allegations she published.

At least Willow hasn’t sued The Invader as well!

That could make matters even worse, but with Lulu and Willow arguing over the article during the Thursday, October 15 episode, it’s possible Willow could threaten further legal action.

As General Hospital Tea recently explored, Willow’s lawsuit could backfire and expose even more of her secrets.

A legal battle involving The Invader could also put Lulu’s job in jeopardy, and she really needs that job!

She’s a single mother raising a teenage son, although Dante certainly helps with their son.

Lulu will have an attorney, and all indications are that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will take her case.

However, with Sidwell denying the statements she recorded, Lulu could still face an uphill battle.

Carly Spencer Might Help Her Cousin Out

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) might help her cousin, although Lucas may want to stay out of the situation.

That’s especially true after Lulu’s references to Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) being locked in led to police questions.

As Lucas told Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett), they don’t want the WSB looking into this any more than it already has.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) probably would have supported Lulu, too, if his reputation hadn’t been ruined by Drew’s setup with Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) help!

Meanwhile, General Hospital Tea’s weekly spoilers suggest Ric will be working to build Lulu’s defense against Willow.

However, there’s one thing that might help Lulu find support and strengthen her position.

There are far more people who want Willow to pay for her actions than people willing to defend her!

Could one of Willow’s enemies become Lulu’s unexpected ally?
