General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Has A Choice To Make About Her Own Life

General Hospital spoilers reveal Willow Tait getting the lowdown about what comes next after learning she has cancer while being very early in a pregnancy.

General Hospital Spoilers: A Topical Topic Given To A Martyr

Sometimes the life of the mother has to be considered when that mother is young and has another child at home and that’s just what Willow is facing as she learns what options she has from Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). She could start chemo now, which gives her the best chance for survival but hurt the fetus she is carrying or she can wait and risk losing her life and her baby’s life.

As Willow is a martyr, it’s likely she won’t consider her life first. After all, she’s refused to even tell Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) what is going on cause she doesn’t want to burden her boyfriend and father of her children with the fact that she has cancer. This is typical Willow and Willow may need to stop and think about what is best for Wiley — and her own life — at this point

Willow’s State Of Mind

Actress Katelyn MacMullen knows exactly how Willow thinks and knows the first baby she gave birth to who died is clearly on her mind. She can’t bear the loss of another child, but will she risk her own life just to bring a baby in the world she might not be there for?

“Her doctors, Britt and Terry, what her to start treatment right away,” MacMullen said in the August 30, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “But Willow’s dilemma is that she is in the first trimester of her pregnancy and if she starts treatment at this juncture, there is more chance there could be complications such as a miscarriage.

“So, she had to decide between starting her treatment immediately and trying to cut off the cancer as soon as possible or waiting, which means the cancer can spread.”

Perhaps Willow should listen to the advice of her new friend Ava Jerome (Maura West) who talked to her about the importance of being there for your living child and giving them the mother they need, while cherishing every moment. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see if this soap can stay topical during this critical time in American history.
