General Hospital Spoilers: Will Sidwell Be the Next Man to Tear Nina and Ava Apart?

General Hospital Spoilers claim Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has been doing his best to court Ava Jerome (Maura West) while not going all-in on a full-blown romance with her.

That’s likely because he doesn’t want to risk her finding out what he’s really up to on Spoon Island. Still, Ava has done her best to cling to the guy, and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be easy to pull her away from him.

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) tried to push her away, but Ava wasn’t having it. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) tried to warn his aunt, but she shirked his concerns.

Ava’s going to do what Ava’s going to do, but Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) might soon have something to say about that. Will her opinion matter in a way Lucas’ did not?

Nina’s Sixth Sense

Something was clearly amiss in Willow and Drew’s living room when Nina stopped by and found Willow with Sidwell. That’s the last person she expected to see there, and Sidwell was far too eager to impress upon Nina that Willow was overwhelmed — and powerful.

It was abundantly clear that he was already looking at Willow as though she was going to be quite valuable to him, and Nina isn’t about to let her daughter fall prey to whatever arrangement Sidwell had with Drew that he expects Willow to deliver on.

GH Spoilers Tease Ava May Draw a Line in the Sand

Ava and Nina only just got over the hurdle that was Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). That got messy for a moment, and now Nina will prove to be a problem for Ava if she starts going on the attack about the man Ava is interested in.

It’s still unclear whether she’s actually romantically interested in the guy, or just interested in his wallet. Regardless, Ava has defended him tooth and nail thus far and is showing no signs that she’ll step away — even when there are valid reasons to.

But we know how Nina can be when she thinks her daughter’s safety is on the line. Will she seek out ways to take Sidwell down, pitting herself on the other side and against her best gal pal?

Willow is No Victim

On Thursday, we learned that Willow is mostly fully on board with Sidwell’s plans, whatever she knows of them. As he laid it all out for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), who sat listening from his bed while paralyzed by whatever Willow is dosing him with, it became clear that Sidwell was her drug supplier.

But that doesn’t mean Nina will be privy to that information anytime soon as she advocates for Ava to tell Sidwell to hit the road.

If Nina takes it upon herself to take him down just to free her daughter from the grip she perceives he has on her, it could be catastrophic for everyone involved.

But with Ava doubling down to defend him to everyone else who has warned her thus far, how will Ava receive Nina going after the guy she’s got her eye on? Keep checking back with us every day for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
