This year has been a heartbreaking journey for the hopeful parents of Port Charles; it all began with Molly’s devastating news that she couldn’t conceive.

Then, her first surrogate tragically lost the baby she was carrying for Molly and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow). To add to the turmoil, Molly’s sister, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) seemed poised to keep the daughter she had promised to give to Molly and TJ.

That is, until the heartbreaking loss of Baby Adela/Irene (Mazlyn) so close to birth. Now, Chase has received the crushing blow of infertility, shattering his and Brook Lynn’s dreams of having a child together; or at least, that’s the narrative the show wants us to accept.
