General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) may find herself second-guessing her decision to accept Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) tempting $250,000 deal.
Was it a mistake not to have chosen Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) financial assistance instead-could Sasha be putting herself and her unborn child in danger?
Sasha Wants To Be Independent, And Raise Her Baby Her Way
Sasha is determined to raise her baby on her own terms, but it’s hard to understand her decision to make a pact with the very criminal who kidnapped her. After all, she was a hostage strapped with explosives, and it was only Jason’s timely intervention that saved her life; so this doesn’t make sense at all.
Now, Jason is offering her financial assistance for a new home and any additional support she may require, but she turned his money down.
It seems unnecessary for Sasha to accept Sidwell’s money, especially given his history as a treacherous and villainous figure.
By giving in to Sidwell’s demands, Sasha may be placing herself in a perilous situation, and her baby as well-and quite possibly even other family members.
Sidwell And Sasha Made A Deal
In return for the $250,000 coming to Sasha, she must persuade the Deception team that the incident at the warehouse was merely a misunderstanding.
She is to place most of the blame on Holly Sutton (Emma Samms); while this might appear to be a straightforward task, it could lead to complications if Sidwell makes additional demands.
Should Sasha fail to meet these expectations, what starts as requests could quickly escalate into threats, and threats into danger. With Sidwell’s trustworthiness in question, Sasha’s ambition to break free from the Quartermaines might end up costing her far more than she anticipated, not to mention throwing her mother under the bus.
Might a dangerous situation like this bring Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Holly back home from Europe to save her?
There May Be No Turning Back For Sasha-Sidwell Will Keep Her Under His Thumb
Sasha’s concerns about her unborn child could lead her down a precarious path. By aligning herself with Sidwell, she may be entering a partnership that proves nearly impossible to escape.
As time goes on, Sasha might realize she’s in deeper than she anticipated, regretting her decision to accept Sidwell’s proposal before it spirals out of control.
It might have been wiser to play it safe and accept financial help from Jason or even Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), who has stepped up as the baby’s father.
