General Hospital Spoilers leak Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) has just agreed to get back together with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). It sounds like she still intends to take things slow, but she hardly implied she wanted their relationship to be any casual.
So when Joss takes an interest in Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), Dex is certain to take notice and feel alarmed. Did he and Joss just spend too much time apart and actually grow apart in the process?
Would this have happened if they had never broken up? Will Joss be able to control her budding attraction to and feelings for Gio as she once again entertains staying in love with Dex and compromising her morals to be with him?
General Hospital Spoilers — Old Habits Die Hard
Being with Dex sounds like a good idea right now. He and Joss have danced around their feelings long enough. Almost losing him to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) brutal hands was enough to make Joss second-guess her decision to stick so fiercely to her requirements that she never be like her mother — jumping into and out of the same relationship over and over.
More so, she didn’t want to give in to her impulses after she had made a firm decision that she couldn’t look at Dex the same way after learning about his decision to almost kill Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) upon Sonny’s order.
While it seems Dex has redeemed himself and things are on the upswing for these two, we are guessing it’s going to be harder than they both think to spend a lot of time together and dodge their old ghosts.
GH Spoilers Reveal a Fresh Start Looks Tempting
If their rebooted relationship doesn’t come as easily as Joss had hoped any reunion between them would, she’s far more likely to start turning her head in Gio’s direction.
Working at the pool with him all summer is sure to keep Joss’ mind busy fantasizing about a guy who isn’t hers. At the same time, going home to a relationship that is no longer what it was could weigh heavily on her.
She may be fooling herself by thinking she and Dex can just jump back in and pick up where they left off after so much time. Things have changed. Will the next change in Joss’ life be Gio?
General Hospital Spoilers — Trina Throws Gas on the Fire
Dex may not grow wise to Joss’ growing interest in Gio at first. It’s likely she’s going to deny her feelings to herself as well. She’s never been great at being honest with herself right out of the gate. Joss is going to want this reunion with Dex to pan out.
Hasn’t there been enough pain? But the ease with which she gets along with Gio, combined with their mutual life goals, may lead to Joss feeling like there could be a better match for her than Dex out there after all.
That’s all fine and well if Gio is available, but rumor has it Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will also soon take an interest in him. If these two college roommates end up going toe-to-toe over a guy, Dex is sure to notice Joss doesn’t like the idea of Trina being with Gio — and he’s bound to ask why.
