General Hospital Spoilers: Will Carly Put Jason Before Joss in Her Quest for the Truth?
General Hospital spoilers claim Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is bent on making sure her relationship with Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) doesn’t fall apart while she knows her daughter is lying through her teeth about every facet of her life.
It’s critical to Carly that she and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) pull off this mission to sink Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). At the same time, Carly’s attention may be pulled in Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) direction.
Seeing him on a date with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) really threw Carly for a loop, and now she may feel conflicted about just how much she can share with Jason about Britt without blowing her cover with Valentin.
Joss is the Top Priority
Don’t forget that it was Jason who came home from Croatia and broke the news to Carly that Joss had been recruited into the WSB — by her loving boyfriend. But let’s also not forget that Jason didn’t rush to tell her the truth.
He promised Joss he wouldn’t, and eventually, he betrayed that trust. But he kept the truth from Carly for a while, and we might see Carly do the same in return now.
She just learned Britt is working with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), and as much as she wants to warn Jason away from his ex, she also knows telling him how she knows this would be a major risk for all involved.
Jason Needs to Know the Truth
If Carly spills the beans, she’ll have to explain why she was hiding out in Jack’s room listening in on that conversation.
Further, she knows Jason will immediately question Britt about her involvement with Sidwell and with Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) work.
That runs the risk of Britt running back to Jack questioning how Jason found out, and then Jack will know Carly betrayed his trust — and that she overheard every bit of that conversation and understood what it meant. She can’t risk blowing the operation she and Valentin have going, but she also may not want to watch Jason wander back down this road with Britt.
Carly and Jason Have Drifted Apart a Bit
Let’s be honest; there is more than concern for her friend that motivated Carly to warn Jason that Britt is reverting back to her old self. We all know Carly and Jason are carrying around feelings for each other that they just don’t act on. Don’t ask me why.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is more than out of the picture now, but apparently as long as he is alive, they can’t be together. Regardless, Carly doesn’t want Jason with Britt — or anyone else.
This dirt on her will just help her push the agenda that Jason should stay single and available to her, even while she’s sleeping with someone else. But she would have to jeopardize Joss and the takedown she has in the works to fully warn Jason. Will she do it? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
