General Hospital Spoilers: Will Anna’s Relationship with Jason Come Into Question If She Goes Easy on Sonny and Carly?
General Hospital spoilers reveal Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and mob enforcer Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) got pretty hot and heavy for a minute in Africa while trying to save Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) from Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) clutches.
That being said, WSB Agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) put Anna on the spot asking about her relationship with Jason, and that crippled any further thoughts she had about their passionate kiss.
She just can’t entertain ruining her professional reputation by getting intimate with someone on the other side of the law.
Her entanglement with Jason has already breached protocol in some ways that the likes of her ex and District Attorney Robert Scoprio (Tristan Rogers) would never approve of.
But now that Anna is in the hot seat regarding the investigation into FBI Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates’ (Adam Harrington) murder, she may find Jack isn’t the only one trying to understand her attitude toward Jason and his associates all of a sudden.

Jack hardly has room to poke and prod into Anna’s personal or professional life. As she told him, she doesn’t have to answer to the WSB. Honestly, Jack is the last person who should be calling Anna’s behavior into question. So what if she trusted Jason to have her back in Africa?
Jack obviously already knew Jason was more than qualified to handle that kind of job, so why wouldn’t Anna recognize the same level of skill in him? Furthermore, can Jack really blame Anna for crushing on Jason with the way he’s been entertaining Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)?
GH Spoilers Hint He Isn’t the Only Colleague Questioning Anna’s Alliances
Still, when others take note of her leniency on the Cates case, it may alarm them. It won’t make sense at first though, especially since Anna has been bent on prosecuting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to the fullest extent of the law for some time now.
Here, she finally has the chance to go after him, and she seems content to let Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) take the fall. Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) and Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) are certainly curious as to why Anna doesn’t seem more interested in actually going after the real criminal in this case.

With the truth about Carly’s faux alibi slated to come out any time now, she and Sonny are certain to be charged with murder and as an accomplice to it. Is it possible that Anna will divert attention away from their faulty story about rolling in the hay in Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliott), or at least tip Jason off to give them more time?
Suddenly, one kiss seemed to send Anna soaring for Jason and she just can’t shake the loyalty she’s feeling toward him. But how will that convey to brother in arms — Sonny — and the real love of his life, Carly?
