General Hospital Spoilers tease Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) thinks she’s putting two and two together, but she has no idea what really happened on the night of FBI Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates’ (Adam Harrington) murder.
Ditching that gun was in the best of interest of her daughter at the time, or so she thought. She never expected to have witnesses. She also never expected that she would end up needing that gun to exonerate her daughter, or herself.
When Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) connects the dots for his dad, Will Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) come clean with Alexis, or will he potentially let her or Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) come under fire because of Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) loose lips?
General Hospital Spoilers — Alexis’ Worst Fear
Worried that Kristina killed a federal agent, Alexis tossed that gun off the footbridge without much hesitation. Okay, there was a little hesitation, but in mere minutes she had made the decision and couldn’t turn back.
Of course, things may have looked even worse had her ex-husband, Ric, coupled with his other ex-wife, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), stumbled upon her still holding that gun.
But the last thing Alexis wants is for Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) to pay for any more of the unintended consequences of this disaster that has ensued ever since Cates came to town.
If that means she goes down for murder while trying to protect the daughter she believes actually killed the guy, so be it.
GH Spoilers Gush Sonny and the Gang Keep Things Hush
The problem is that Alexis could put herself on the pike for this murder while Sonny knows it was him. Worse, Michael and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) also know better.
Will all three of them keep quiet and let Alexis ride this out? Is that fair? Hardly, but telling Alexis they know she didn’t do it would imply they think they know who did — and that could lead Alexis to sniffing around Sonny.

We don’t know yet just how Alexis will stumble upon the truth that Sonny killed Cates, but we can bet she’s not going to sit on that information once she does if it means clearing herself and Kristina of all suspicion of involvement.
Of course, once she finds out it was Sonny, she’ll know that he was willing to let her take the fall for his crimes, and she probably won’t take that lying down.
