General Hospital Spoilers: Trina Comes Home With Open Arms for Portia, But Curtis Doesn’t

General Hospital spoilers reveal Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is safe on American soil and away from the clutches of Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), but that doesn’t mean her mother is pleased to hear she’s still wrapped up in Victor’s great-nephew, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). Still, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will do her best to bite her tongue, knowing any lashing out against the idea of Trina and Spencer being a couple will only push her daughter away.

But what about her husband, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), who has been keeping his distance ever since their wedding night revealed that Portia was lying to him for twenty years? Curtis isn’t nearly as ready to embark upon a happily ever after with Portia, despite his near-death experience overseas.

General Hospital Spoilers — Trina Wants to Move Forward

Trina was never more relieved to see her mother. She hasn’t forgiven her mom for lying to her about her paternity and keeping her in the dark all these years, but she knows she never wants to feel the sense of regret she did when she was aboard The Haunted Star, thinking she might never see her mother again and would leave her wondering forever how she truly felt about her. So, moving forward, Trina is going to be more transparent with her mom and maintain communication — as long as her mom stays in her lane.

GH Spoilers Suggest Portia is Stuck in the Past

Portia is still harboring resentment for much of what Spencer has done to Trina — and rightfully so. It’s likely that any mother would, and Portia isn’t one for letting loose on grudges. She’s tired of watching Trina fall for Spencer’s act and see the alleged good in him when he only seems to steer her wrong. In reality, it’s not entirely his fault that doom and gloom seem to invade his environment at every turn. Trina is willing to stand by him despite that, but that doesn’t make Portia feel proud — it just worries her.

General Hospital Spoilers — Curtis and Portia Butt Heads

Portia’s life might start looking up a bit now that Trina is talking to her again and back home, safe and sound, but that doesn’t mean her family is on the mend. When Portia finds out how much Curtis supports Trina’s relationship with Spencer, it’s going to create a new divide between them — this time with Portia being the jilted party. As they continue to conflict on this front and Portia watches Curtis encourage Trina and Spencer’s new union, she just might stand back and question whether she really wants to fix this marriage after all. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
