General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal the last suspect on anyone’s list of who might have shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is a doozy! Drew has made it a point to accuse several people of shooting him or plotting to do so, but he didn’t count on his plot backfiring!
Desperate Drew Would Do Anything To Help Willow Get Her Children So He Will Get Her Back
Desperate Drew would do anything to help Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) get her children back so he can get her back-she’s made some baby steps towards reconciliation already. He knows and revealed that Judge Eva Heran (Tessa Auberjonois) was bribed to give full custody to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and that she was mysteriously murdered shortly afterwards.
The unofficial person of interest in that case is Jenz Sidwell, (Carlo Rota) but only because the judge was found in the water, having apparently floated with the tide from Spoon Island.
Did Drew have Heran killed-it’s possible, if he wanted to prevent her from ruling favorably for Michael in the upcoming custody hearing.
But he may have wanted to make sure Michael would not be able to raise his children-not by having him killed, but by framing him for his own attempted murder!
The First Shot Was Not Meant To Be Fatal
Think about it-the first shot Drew suffered was not meant to be fatal, although he knew it would hurt and he’d go down; but the second shot wasn’t something he bargained on.
Perhaps his shooter wasn’t someone as loyal as he thought-or the person that shot him wasn’t even the person he hired at all, and seeing cars nearby, backed out of it! That would make sense as to why the real shooter shot him a second time, while Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) hid in the bedroom.
The second shot was meant to finish him off, the shooter noticing Drew’s eyes open-then fled the scene not long before Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) arrived.
Drew Is Still In Danger, The Real Shooter Could Still Finish Him Off
The news of Drew’s attempted assassination has already spread out through Port Charles-so in spite of Drew’s plot to frame Michael for killing or having him killed, he still could die.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) made a valid point when visiting Drew in the hospital, when he said the killer could still come and finish him off. If Drew did indeed hire someone to shoot him in a way that wouldn’t be fatal, that person’s probably in the wind, his original plot backfired.
There haven’t been security cameras since Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was the head of the hospital, and strangely enough, a congressman doesn’t have security at his room? With Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) both having motives, don’t be surprised if Drew’s finished off!!
