General Hospital Spoilers: Tension Rises Between Esme and Spencer — Where is This Headed?

General Hospital Spoilers report Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) haven’t seen eye to eye on many occasions since they broke up.

But they’ve both wanted what is best for Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), and they acclimated quickly to working together for his betterment after he was born.

But now that Esme has officially moved out of Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) — leaving Spencer with more time on his hands than he’ll know what to do with — tension is going to rise between them in ways neither of them could’ve seen coming after they parted ways. Will this tension be all about Spencer’s anger, or is something else amiss?

General Hospital Spoilers — Growing Up is Hard to Do

Spencer knew within moments of Esme packing their belongings and heading off to her new apartment with Ace that it was the right decision.

He couldn’t see it before that moment, but he acknowledged to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that he knew it would be best for Ace not to remember what his life used to be like while he lived with his big brother — implying how painful it would be that he himself would never be able to forget it.

But the bittersweet moment he shared with Trina showed that Spencer has truly grown. Still, that has limitations.

GH Spoilers Tease Esme Meets Someone New

Esme is ready to get on with her life, and little does Spencer know, part of that includes getting over the budding feelings she has for him.

However, as much as Esme thought the time away from him would help her forget how she feels, it seems that distance is only going to make the heart grow fonder in this case.

Furthermore, Esme’s attempts to get over Spencer by putting someone else between them — a new potential love interest — won’t go over well with him when he finds out.

General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer Gets Territorial

Trina was concerned that Spencer’s motives in wanting to keep Esme and Ace at his grandmother’s place might have had more to do with his feelings toward Esme than keeping his little brother in his day-to-day life.

Now, when he reacts to the idea of Esme having a new young man in her life, Trina won’t find it as easy to explain her fury to her family without throwing him under the bus.

Will Spencer’s concern really come off as worry that Esme is going to introduce a stranger to Ace too soon — or is he going to start wishing Esme was off the market entirely? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
