General Hospital Spoilers reveal Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) promised Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) he was going to get rid of the box of manufactured evidence Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) bequeathed to him. But leave it to Spencer to not even be as good as his word.
He and Trina are finally in a great place with each other, but it looks like he stands to screw it up royally by lying to the woman he loves. Spencer might not be thinking too far in advance about what would happen if Trina found out he kept the fake evidence against Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), but he probably hasn’t worried for a moment about what would happen if Esme found it — and he should be.
General Hospital Spoilers — Close Quarters
There is something to be said about a guy who barely ever lived with his own family. Spencer was given a certain amount of privacy from a young age. Boarding school may sound like an endless barrage of professors and peers, but having his own living quarters may have conditioned him to thinking he had more privacy than he did
. Until Esmé came to Port Charles, he had never lived in the same house with a girlfriend. Not living with Trina now affords him the privacy required to keep this “evidence” a secret from her. But the same privacy rules don’t apply to the ex-girlfriend living in his grandmother’s penthouse with him.
GH Spoilers Hint This Could Shatter Esme’s Amnesia Lie
Spencer and Trina mulled over the potential outcomes of trying to use Victor’s manufactured evidence to put Esme behind bars, and they agreed it wasn’t worth the risk. If the state was able to prove the evidence was forged, not only could Spencer be in hot water for supplying it, but the charges would be dropped and Esme wouldn’t be able to be charged again for the same crimes — allegedly. Besides, when they do bring evidence against her, they want it to stick, and while this letter is damning, it’s not an ace in the hole.
Spencer may come to look at his situation quite differently though when Esme unearths the secret evidence he has stowed away — and knows for certain that she didn’t write it. Protesting his motives and insisting the letter didn’t come from her, Esme will immediately recognize her secret is out. If she knows she didn’t do it, she must remember all that she did do.
General Hospital Spoilers — Is It Worth Losing Trina?
Was this Spencer’s plan all along? Entrap Esme and make her think there is evidence against her in hopes that she would get riled up and be her own undoing? Maybe, maybe not. But either way, Spencer won’t be able to share the news with Trina without Fiverr coming clean about holding onto the evidence. This could make Trina feel like she was left out in the cold, not as much his partner as she had wanted to believe. They made a decision — together — and he didn’t respect that. What does this say about how he really feels about her? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
