General Hospital spoilers report Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is slated to offer up something delicious to Ava Jerome (Maura West) this week. Will he negotiate with Ava to secure his daughter’s freedom? Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) tearfully expressed her fears to Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
No, she hasn’t done anything wrong, but she knows no one can prove what happened between her and Ava that day at the Metro Court Hotel. While Dante sees that as a benefit, Kristina feels it slights her.
Sonny may not be concerned that Kristina could ultimately be found guilty, but TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) could add fuel to that fire. Moreover, the strain on Kristina of having to endure such a trial could be enough to push Sonny to appeal to Ava and have this whole thing called off.

Kristina doesn’t have to be guilty for this to blow up on her face or leave her overtaxed and destroyed.
Sonny knows his daughter has already been through an unspeakable trauma, and he doesn’t want the heavy guilt weighing on him knowing that she is only being persecuted because Cates can’t reach Sonny on anything legitimate.
If he’s hoping to lure Sonny into confessing to something in exchange for setting Kristina free, he’s got another thing coming, because Sonny has another angle to play. Doesn’t he always?
GH Spoilers Suggest Sonny Grows Concerned
Now that Sonny knows Ava is scared of him, he could hammer home her fears that she will lose custody of Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) if she forms the wrong alliance —- like say, one with Cates.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could tip Sonny off and let him know Ava is innocent and needs his help getting out from under Cates’ thumb. But Sonny may not even need his ex’s intel to see the writing on the wall.
General Hospital Spoilers — One Daughter for Another?
Kristina’s case isn’t over. The judge gave Cates 48 hours to pull his case together and he intends to do just that. Meanwhile, Sonny could come to Ava’s aid, but he may also play hard ball with her.
Will he negotiate her cooperation against Cates to help set Kristina free if it means he agrees to joint custody of Avery in exchange. Will he really broker their deal with Ava while using his little girl as a pawn?
