General Hospital spoilers indicate that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) wants to go to the authorities about the bad money that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) invested in Deception.
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) all voted in favor of not going to the authorities with this knowledge, while Maxie voted against them.
Thanks to Lucy, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is already aware that Maxie voted against them, and he is nervous that Maxie would end up going to the authorities anyway.
Sidwell just had an encounter with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Maxie’s son, James West (Gary James Fuller) at the Metro Court pool, and James told Sidwell that his mother wants to discuss something important with Mac Scorpio (John J. York), chief of police detectives, making Sidwell even more uneasy. He will have to act fast to make sure Maxie stays quiet!
Jenz Sidwell Takes Drastic Action By Kidnapping James
Realizing that Maxie could talk to Mac very soon, and divulge the truth about Sonny’s crooked investment in Deception, Sidwell’s plans for Measure C would be ruined. He would have to make sure that Maxie is taken care of, and fast.
He would lure Maxie by having James kidnapped, with no intention of harming the child. Maxie would be frantic by the disappearance of her son, and she would be forced to keep Mac and the PCPD in the dark about it. She would follow the directions sent by Sidwell and his cronies, and she would head to get James back.
Maxie Jones Arrives And Jenz Sidwell Enacts His Plan
Maxie would arrive at wherever she was asked to do so, and call out for James. Sidwell would make his appearance, and someone acting for Sidwell for tell Maxie that no one has any intention of harming James.
His boss just wants reassurance that she is not going to go to the authorities about the crooked Deception money.
Maxie would agree that she won’t, all she wants is James back. Sidwell would then appear and tell Maxie that he can’t count on that, and instructs his men to take her. He would also tell them to make sure that James gets home safely.
Maxie Jones’s Disappearance Rocks Port Charles
James would be returned, and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) would be relieved, but wonder what happened to Maxie.
James would tell him that he doesn’t know, but everyone was really nice to him. Maxie would be missing, and her close family, including Mac and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and friends would be hysterical with worry.
Meanwhile, Sidwell would keep her somewhere until the Measure C vote is over. He has no intention of harming her, he just needs to keep her away until he can enact his plans which Maxie could blow apart.
