Thanks to behind-the-scenes leaks, we know that Sidwell and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will both become attack victims. Curtis will be admitted to the ICU once he gets caught up in the danger that’s headed Sidwell’s way.
Sidwell will obviously be badly beaten as well, so he’ll be rushed to the hospital for treatment along with Curtis. From there, Sidwell may recover enough to make a bold move that brings him freedom.
GH Spoilers: Sidwell May Recover
There’s no denying that escaping from the hospital would be far easier than plotting a prison break. The security level won’t be nearly as high, so this will be Sidwell’s best chance to make a break for it.
Sidwell will need a little time to recover first, but then he could take action before he’s transferred back to Pentonville.
Even if Sidwell’s handcuffed to his bed, he may find a way to pick the lock and bolt for the door. Sidwell could make it past a distracted guard and leave an empty room behind.
It makes sense that Sidwell might make his getaway from the hospital if he’s indeed going to make one. Sidwell certainly won’t want to get locked back up in Pentonville, so he may move forward with this escape scheme.
It’s possible Sidwell could target a few Port Charles residents that he’s holding a grudge against once he’s a fugitive. It’s also possible Sidwell will focus on going into hiding – at least until it’s time for another storyline involving him.
General Hospital Spoilers: Sidwell Gives Everybody The Slip
Whatever the case, panic may erupt at the hospital if Sidwell gives everybody there the slip. Someone may sound the alarm over Sidwell’s escape, but he may manage to evade the authorities for the time being.
