General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease a shocking twist could be ahead-could Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) be next in a string of bad boy relationships for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn)?
Strange as it may seem, it looks like the ABC soap is definitely testing the chemistry between Sidwell and Alexis-and he ticks all the boxes to be her type!
Alexis Has Almost Always Fell Hard For The Bad Boys
We can easily recognize a chemistry test, and GH is certainly putting Alexis and Sidwell to the test.-on the surface, it doesn’t seem to add up.
He’s a villainous lawbreaker, while she’s portrayed as virtuous, upright, and kind-hearted-but look back on all the things that she’s done.
That image crumbles when we remember her attempts to hide her daughter’s violent behavior, her involvement in past murders, her own illicit activities, and the fabrications surrounding her children’s paternity.
In reality, Alexis is far less noble and honest than she pretends to be. Moreover, she definitely has a specific type when it comes to her romantic interests, making Sidwell an ideal match for her.
Bad Boy Sonny Corinthos
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is the father of Alexis’ (most troubled child, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi). It’s no surprise that the daughter of a mobster is facing challenges, considering her father is a notorious figure who orchestrates murders and kidnappings as if they were just another online order.
He stands as the most formidable criminal in Port Charles’ history, yet his charming dimples somehow soften his image.
This charm leads Alexis to not only excuse his behavior but also to defend his actions, even when they seem utterly reprehensible to everyone else.
Of course, her law partner Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is Sonny’s lawyer and seems to get him as well as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) out of all their scrapes with the law!
Bad Boy Ric Lansing
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is the father of Alexis’ most sensible daughter, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos); he is also Sonny’s half-brother, though he is only half as criminal as Sonny.
Ric has abducted Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and held her captive-he married Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for her wealth while having an affair with her mother, Madeline (Donna Mills). At present, he is entangled in a blackmail plot.
Despite his shady dealings, he is undeniably a charming silver fox. This suggests that while Alexis may not defend him with the same fervor as she does Sonny, she won’t entirely cast him aside either.
Alexis’ First Bad Boy-Julian Jerome
Alexis’ eldest daughter was fathered by the late Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), whose father was Julian Jerome (William DeVry), a notorious mobster.
Not only did he once hold a knife to Alexis’ throat, threatening her on the spot, but his striking physique certainly distracted her from many concerns.
This leads us to a significant observation: Sidwell perfectly matches Alexis’ ideal type. If she were to deny it, a gentle nudge down memory lane would certainly help her recall the truth. Even Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) who she also dated was an enforcer for Sonny.
