General Hospital Spoilers: Scandalous Secrets Spill During Drew & Jason’s Messy Legal Custody Battle For Danny
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) could be headed for a courtroom battle where Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) is concerned.
While Jason agreed to move into the Quartermaine mansion during the Friday, November 22 episode to keep Danny with his sister Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) and stepbrother Rocco Falconeri (Francis Carr), this doesn’t mean Danny’s custody issue is over.
GH Spoilers: Sam McCall’s Final Wishes
GH spoilers note that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) found Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) will during the week of November 18-22. In the document, Sam requested that her kids go to Drew.
While she drafted it during a time when Jason was presumed dead, this doesn’t mean that Sam’s final wishes were any different. Sam may have still thought Drew as a legal guardian to Danny made sense and was the responsible thing to do, especially considering Jason’s line of work.
At the same time, Sam was young, and likely never anticipated her demise would come so soon. She may have forgotten to update her will after Jason showed up alive. There’s also a chance she left the kids to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had the two gotten married.
Either way, Alexis is adamant that her daughter’s final wishes be granted. So, what happens next?
GH Spoilers: Things Could Get Ugly
Drew and Jason have never been close; however, their feud was reignited in a big way recently when Jason punched him out in the Quartermaine mansion entrance.
Drew thinks it’s because he kissed Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), but Jason did it because he knows his twin brother did the deed with his nephew’s wife in the Q nursery.
Regardless, this has rubbed Drew the wrong way. Violence is never the answer; however, Drew’s obnoxious attitude to Jason losing his temper and his ‘holier than thou’ stance when retelling others the situation is completely out of line, as well.
While Jason may join the Qs for the interim, this doesn’t mean that Drew won’t launch a custody battle for Danny, out of spite.
He has Sam’s legal will to back him up, and there’s also a chance that Alexis would represent him – she was never a fan of Jason and always closer to Drew.
But how many secrets could spill during the custody case? Drew will point out Jason’s lifestyle and violent behavior to the court; however, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) could step up and tell the judge why Jason flew off the handle, exposing Drew’s affair with Willow.
Drew could also point out how Jason was thought to be dead because he was working for the FBI to cover for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), but then again, Drew threw himself under the bus during the SEC scandal and went to prison for Carly. Both men have placed Ms. Spencer before spending time with their children.
Danny is a teenager and can go wherever he wants at this point, but this is also a soap opera, so the reality of things could be twisted for the sake of drama. Either way, if a custody battle ensued, things would get ugly!
