General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, January 8-Friday, January 11 reveal Port Charles gathers to remember Bobbie Spencer as GH remembers her portrayer, Jacklyn Zeman.
The memorial scenes will air Wednesday, January 10 and Thursday, January 11 although she’ll be remembered throughout the week with many flashback scenes.
General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Collins Speaks At St. Luke’s Church
Bobbie’s friends, family, and many from Port Charles as well as from out of town gather at St. Luke’s Church for her memorial service. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) stands at the front and speaks, in front of the casket and near a large photo of Bobbie.
Laura speaks of Bobbie as an experience she will truly miss, as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) smiles in the midst of her tears.
Beside her in the front row are a tearful Josslyn Jacks (Courtney Fulk) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) are seen in the left front row, while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) appears to be an usher, standing at the front.
GH Spoilers: Many Attend The Service
Many attend the service, with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) apparently being out of PCPD custody after being questioned by Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) over Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) beating.
He sits by Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) on the left side, with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) a few rows behind; on the right side are more attendees.
Felicia Scorpio, (Kristina Wagner) Maxie Jones, (Kirsten Storms) Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) can also be seen-Felicia, Maxie and Anna in tears.
Felix DuBois (Marc Samuel) is behind them and then Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) can’t be seen but should be there somewhere.
General Hospital Spoilers: Taking Care Of Business
Elizabeth will visit Carly at Kelly’s and the two will bond over memories of Bobbie ahead of the service, and Sonny will find Carly there as well. Felicia and Carly will honor Bobbie and Carly will have a lovely tribute to her mother; afterwards, they’ll travel to Amsterdam to work on closing the business Bobbie left behind.
That will no doubt include Bobbie’s estate as well as Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) messy estate that she was working on when she passed away in her sleep.
Carly will be forced to reckon with her family’s past as they are trying to get the estates settled and possibly some other unfinished business of Bobbie’s that’s revealed. Maxie will sit down with a reporter and they and the people of Port Charles will share their memories of Bobbie.
