She’s probably not thinking that something has happened to him against his will, but given they’ve been growing closer since Ric came back to town, she’s feeling a bit more protective of her dear old dad.
Sparked by Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) prodding, Molly agreed that something just doesn’t seem right about Ric’s radio silence.
Her ambition to use her leverage with the law to look into her dad’s whereabouts could bring the hammer down on her whole family, right alongside Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Ava Gave It All Up
On Tuesday, we saw Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) pour her heart out to Ava in a display we never saw coming. She wanted to broker peace — not just for herself, but for her daughter, Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi), too.
Ava took that olive branch and ran with it, and it shocked both Kristina and Alexis when she pulled out the key to the car and gave it to Kristina as a sign of good faith that they would both continue holding up their ends of this deal as the final day of their 30-day hostage situation with Ric played out. Is Ava going to come to regret that?
Kristina Plays for Keeps
Now that Ric has been set free by Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Molly is mere moments from potentially finding out what her parents, sister, and Ava have been up to, will anyone be surprised if Kristina has already found a way to dispose of that car?
If she hasn’t, she might before Ava can turn on her and try to use it against her again. If she has, Ava is going to be furious that Kristina took the opportunity to see to it that she got what she wanted out of this deal, and she may even come to suspect that Alexis was lying when she said she couldn’t get the transfer to go through until midnight.
Ric Goes Nuclear
On Wednesday’s episode, we saw Ric pour of impatient gratitude when Cody stumbled upon him in Alexis’ basement. But he was far from grateful to the three women who put him there, and he’s more than eager to tell Molly what they did to him.
At the same time, that may mean he has to disclose to Molly what his role was in all of this, and the look on his face when she showed up at the door was one of sheer panic that she might find out.
