General Hospital Spoilers: Portia Fakes The Paternity Test?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease we must ask a question, based on Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) previous behavior, now that she’s taken her paternity test.

In the weekly video promo for the week of February 9, Portia’s actions and her body language lead to some suspicions-will she fake the paternity test?

Portia Doesn’t Need Any More Blackmail From Brad Cooper

The last thing Portia needs right now is more blackmail from Brad Cooper, (Parry Shen) who’s returned to Port Charles and is working in the GH lab again.

So, chances are, Portia will run the paternity test herself, so she gets the results instead of having someone else do it. Even though she’s on probation because of her affair with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) no one’s locked her out of the hospital-or the computer systems-they’re letting her work, just not as co-chief of staff.

The promo shows Portia in the hospital, with a manila envelope-that must contain the paternity test results, after telling Isaiah she was taking the test.

But with the scenes following, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) looking upset and Portia looking nervous and guilty with a smiling Isaiah, it’s all too suspicious.

Portia Is Dressed For Work In Her Lab Coat

Portia is dressed for work in her lab coat, even though she’s on probation they’re letting her do some things. She hasn’t lost her license, although there are marks on her employment record as to why her probation continued.

Portia finds herself in a quandary-Isaiah wants a family but what does she do if the paternity test says it’s Curtis? Not to mention the damage to her relationship with her daughter, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), which she wants so desperately to mend; Trina has cut her off completely! The way Portia figures, even though she’ll continue being tied to Curtis to Trina, she doesn’t have to have him up close and personal all the time over the baby.

Trina Asks Curtis About The Results

Trina asks Curtis about the results and clearly, he’s not pleased, while when she’s with Isaiah later, he’s grinning from ear to ear! However, Portia looks troubled she’s either dreading what she has to tell him or worried he’ll find out she find out the truth later on like Curtis did about Trina.

The truth about Trina never would have come out had both she and Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) not submitted DNA for genealogy purposes-Trina’s, an assignment for school.

There’s a good possibility that she will change the paternity results to show Isaiah is the father so she won’t have to deal with Curtis’ interference.

But having done it, is the nervous and somewhat sad look on her face indicating second thoughts?
