General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) relief over Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) amnesia might be short-lived. Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was casting some very suspicious looks at Nina when she left the scene when Ned fell in the pool-might he have something on her?
General Hospital Spoilers: Why Did The Co-Owner Flee The Scene So Fast?
Nina started to call 911 when Ned fell in the pool, but then hung up when she saw Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) call, and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) jump in. That’s not so unusual, or even bad, since 911 frequently gets calls about the same incident from several witnesses; it’s not like Nina would have been breaking the law. But what Chase did find unusual is that the co-owner of the property wouldn’t have wanted to stay to document what happened, considering Tracy’s accusations.
Chase unfortunately knows about the bad and greedy side of the Quartermaines and especially Tracy, he would not have been surprised had she sued the hotel. The other co-owner, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) certainly was in no shape to stay and do what co-owners do when there is an accident on the premises so why’d Nina leave?
GH Spoilers: Hasn’t Checked The Video From The Patio Yet
It’s plain that Chase’s detective curiosities are piqued even though he hasn’t checked all of the Metro Court security videos for that night, only the immediate pool area. That showed Ned running, falling in, and Drew saving him and Tracy accusing Drew of trying to kill Ned, and that video is what Chase confronted Tracy with at the hospital. But why was Ned running, and why was Nina following him-what happened on the patio area between Ned and Nina? Inquiring recently reinstated PCPD detective minds want to know, and Chase intends to find out-first stop the rest of the footage.
General Hospital Spoilers: What A Mess
When Chase views the rest of the footage, he can clearly see why Nina didn’t stay around-she was afraid that Ned would call her out for calling the SEC. Drew was one of them named in the insider trading charges, with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) the other, and Nina had Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) report it. The only problem is here, neither Nina nor Martin did anything wrong, it’s not a crime to report a crime so he can’t arrest either one.
But what he can do is tell Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) what he knows. At least he has proof to exonerate Ned for the accusations, even though they now believe him-Tracy, he’s not so sure!
