Drew has formed an alliance with Ava Jerome (Maura West), so that news surely won’t go over well with Nina. Although Ava and Nina faced some challenges in the past, GH fans know they ultimately found their way back to being good friends.
That’s why Nina’s immediately going to hear alarm bells going off in her head when she realizes Ava has partnered up with Drew. The fact that Drew and Ava are going up against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will give Nina another reason to worry.
Nina will always be a bit protective of Sonny as her former flame. There’s a bond that was never fully broken between them, so Nina may want to shut this Drew and Ava partnership down for multiple reasons.
That’s especially true if Nina gets the feeling that Ava and Drew’s alliance could become something more. Nina let herself get swept up in passionate encounters with Drew once upon a time and may realize Ava is the next woman in line for a Drew fling.
Of course, Nina will think that’s a horrible idea since she loathes Drew with a burning passion. After everything that’s happened between Drew and Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen), Nina doesn’t trust him and won’t want him sinking his claws into Ava.
Since Ava has claws of her own and is perfectly capable of taking care of herself, she may tell Nina that sooner or later. However, Nina may try to intervene anyway and double down on the blackmail threat.
Perhaps Nina will bring up Brennan’s dirt and remind Drew that he could land in prison if he doesn’t keep cooperating. Drew might call Nina’s bluff in this case and argue that she can’t control every aspect of his life.
Maybe Drew could insist that he agreed not to rat Willow out and allowed her to her keep her Congress seat, but that’s where their deal ends.
Drew may push Nina not to test him for Willow’s sake and contend that he’ll do whatever he likes with Ava – whether that involves business or pleasure!
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Nina may have a nightmare discovery ahead involving Ava’s alliance and budding romance with Drew, so stay tuned to see her reaction.
