General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Sick With Worry, Will Willow Make It Through The Transplant?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be sick with worry when the bone marrow transplant is taking place. Even though Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is a perfect match, Nina won’t be able to help but worry-she already has one dead daughter, and she can’t deal with having another.

General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Reeves Mourned Her Lost Baby

When Nina first came out of her twenty year coma, she mourned her lost baby, having no idea that she had twins and her mother split them up. She assumed that the baby had died while she was in the coma, although she’d really not known for sure-and Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) didn’t say any different. She didn’t find out she’d given birth until after Madeline died, and she left a half-heart necklace with a note that it would mend a broken heart.

Nina put the pieces of the puzzle together herself-and eventually she found out Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) had been her daughter-too late. It wasn’t until after Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) died and Willow developed leukemia that she found out she was Nelle’s twin.

GH Spoilers: Willow Tait Kept Her Leukemia Secret Much Too Long

Willow had kept her leukemia a secret much too long, but she didn’t expect that it would progress to end stage by the time taking chemotherapy was safe for the baby. They had thought baby Amelia Corinthos’ (Nathan and Owen Ford) cord blood would have enough stem cells to cure Willow’s leukemia, but it didn’t. To make matters worse, Willow coded and had a near death experience after the caesarean section, and that has only contributed to Nina’s fears, even though Willow survived. Nina is so afraid of the worst-case scenario, even though she continues to try to stay positive; she knows that her positive attitude can help her daughter.

General Hospital: Watching And Waiting

Nina isn’t the only one watching and waiting out in that waiting room at GH, while the bone marrow transplant is taking place. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is waiting, whether Liesl likes it or not because he couldn’t handle it if she didn’t make it. So at least one kindred spirit is there supporting Nina, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) are there, and Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).

Everyone is trying to stay positive and thinking good thoughts or in the GH chapel praying until the procedure is done. Hopefully, both donor and recipient will come through the procedure just fine, and Willow will live for a long, long time.
