General Hospital Spoilers: Nina and Sonny Careen Toward Catastrophe as Nina’s Lies Unravel at the Seams

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) hasn’t always been Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) number one fan, but she tries to be tolerant of all of Sonny’s loved ones.

Gladys is no exception, no matter how finicky and entitled she may be. But her perception of Gladys might change a bit when it appears that she’s desperate to help her daughter-in-law by any means necessary.

No one else feels that kind of love for Sasha except for perhaps Nina. But helping Gladys out with a cool $50K isn’t the issue Nina will take with her plan.

When Gladys demands that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) can never know, Nina isn’t going to feel so hot about their arrangement. Will she tell her beau anyway?

General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Wasn’t Keen on Gladys as of Late

When Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) suddenly spiraled out of control and found herself shoplifting at Logan’s, it surprised everyone who knew her.

Still, her loved ones were willing to overlook her latest faux pas because they had seen how good Sasha had been doing for months.

But when Gladys cornered Nina and struck up conversation about Sasha’s messy mistake, Nina was taken aback by Gladys’ approach.

The fact that she was considering telling the judge about Sasha’s major setback was astounding to Nina.

The last thing Sasha needed was more overbearing control in her life. She just wanted to get back to normal, and Nina felt that would be the best thing for her. But it appears Gladys had other plans.

GH Spoilers Hint Sonny is in the Dark?

Nina knows better than to trust Gladys, but Sonny’s cousin sure does have a good way of making people feel like she’s nothing more than a victim who needs to be saved by them.

Gladys could certainly continue to play on Nina’s weaknesses —- which everyone can peg from a mile away.

Gladys doesn’t have a good history with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and may make Nina feel rather special by coming to her for help in the first place.

Will Nina honor Gladys’ request not to tell Sonny about this lump sum exchange of funds?

General Hospital Spoilers — Nina’s String of Lies Grow

Unfortunately for Nina, the more lies she tells, the more the mountain of anxiety hanging over her head seems to grow.

She sure knows how to bury herself in deceit beyond repair. Of course, Nina’s heart will be in the right place; she wants to help Sasha and is naive enough to think Gladys wants the same thing.

Sonny could warn Nina to steer clear of Gladys, if only he knew she had even entered her orbit. But it sounds like Nina is going to try to fix this mess on her own, and it will surely come back to bite her.

Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to see how this plays out.
