General Hospital Spoilers: New Job Troubles-Carly Reassures Her New Staff, But Crimson Employees Are Loyal To Nina!

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) having new job troubles as the new editor-in-chief of Crimson Magazine.

For one thing, Carly doesn’t know anything about running a magazine, and for the other, Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) employees are loyal to Nina!

General Hospital Spoilers: Crimson’s Employees Are Not Adjusting Well

Crimson’s employees were blindsided by suddenly working for a new regime-and they’re not liking it; Nina was good to her employees and they were like a family.

It’s obvious to them that their new boss, Carly, doesn’t know what she’s doing although she is trying. Carly tries to reassure her new staff that there might be some growing pains, but they’ll all adjust, and even offers to take suggestions.

But it’s not working well for Carly, and she frequently calls over to Deception Cosmetics to ask secret advice about fashion from Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

Carly can run the books and run the business end of Crimson, but she can’t live up to Nina’s employees’ expectations, or the magazine itself.

GH Spoilers: Carly Spencer’s Not Adjusting Well Either

Carly’s not adjusting well either but Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) insisted that they work together, him and her as a team-him owning the magazine as a part of Aurora Media. Carly agreed to take the job but it was only supposed to be temporary until they could find someone better suited-but he’s not looking for anyone else.

Carly’s heart is in running Kelly’s, recently renamed Bobbie’s in honor of her late mother, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and she has no plans to quit.

It’s a pity that her cousin, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) is still in an indeterminate coma-she’d be perfect for this job, although she was a reporter. A tabloid newspaper to a fashion magazine is at least more closely related than a restauranteur to an editor!

General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Spencer Has A Bone To Pick With Drew Cain

After a few days of trying to be the editor of a magazine whose staff doesn’t want to adjust to their new leader, Carly has a bone to pick with Drew.

She tells him he’s going to have to find someone else who has experience in magazines, and hopefully someone the staff will respect. Carly tells Drew that the magazine’s employees, are mostly all looking for work elsewhere, and if that happens, he really will have to shut Crimson down.

Drew thinks he needs to have a talk with the employees-but Carly tells him Crimson has been a major moneymaker for Aurora. As much as it pains her to admit this, Nina is much better at running Crimson!

  • The same rules applied when Nina bought the MC. She did not know anything about the hotel and restaurant business...Carly's employees were loyal to her and did not like Nina. Thanks to Olivia helping and stepping up she would be gone as well. Carly never intended to stay at Crimson and Drew was supposed to get a replacement. That is what they agreed on then he switched up on her.
