General Hospital Spoilers: Ned Angles for Nina’s Help, and She Draws Him Close in an Effort to Make Sure He Never Remembers Her Secret

General Hospital spoilers suggest Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is absolutely beside herself with terror. She can’t believe that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) invited Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) to stay at their penthouse. The last thing she needs is Ned’s alter ego looking her in the eyes every day.

She can’t risk him remembering what happened just before he took a tumble at the pool. If he remembers her secret — that she is the one who tipped off the SEC on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) — her world will implode. Sonny would banish her from his life, and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) would likely do the same. Instead, Nina will have to embrace the situation, hoping that she can manipulate Ned into letting Eddie take over — for good.

General Hospital Spoilers — Eddie Maine Moves In

Eddie might’ve been staying just one night with Sonny until he got his bearings and everyone made sure he was alright, but no one is going to have any better suggestion in the days to come as to what he should be doing with himself. It’s certain that he’s not going to go back to the hospital. His plans to go to Las Vegas certainly won’t delight his unrecognized loved ones. In desperate need of a plan to keep him in Port Charles and around people who will help try to bring Ned back, Sonny and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will conspire to work together in setting Eddie up with the musical career of his dreams — right in Port Chuck.

GH Spoilers Say Nina Hasn’t Learned Her Lesson

We thought Nina might’ve learned her lesson when she kept Sonny away from his family for nearly a year back in Nixon Falls. Suffering from amnesia after a tumble into the water, when a footbridge fell from underneath him, Sonny had no idea who he was, and believed himself to be a man named Mike — all thanks to the engraved watch he was wearing that belonged to his late father.

When Nina coincidentally happened upon him tending bar in a remote Pennsylvania town, she saw it as an opportunity to get even with Carly for having kept the truth from her about Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) being Nina’s daughter. This time around, Nina has no bad blood with the Quartermaines and certainly doesn’t need any. This isn’t about revenge. It’s just about keeping her secret. Nina will have her work cut out for her if she thinks she can suppress Ned’s identity from him forever any better than she lucked out at it with Sonny.

General Hospital Spoilers — Ned May Never Come Back If Nina Gets Her Way

It’s true, the doctors have already said that Eddie may never vacate Ned’s mind. Olivia could have lost her husband at that pool. Some say he might as well have died because the man she knew is gone. Will he ever return? Not if Nina has anything to say about it. Nina is already growing closer to Eddie and learning to use his affection and preference for her to her own advantage. Sonny’s good deed of letting Eddie stay with them is going to do a lot of damage as Nina uses every minute she has in Eddie’s face to further ingrain into his mind that this is who he is — a rockstar with no family. Will she succeed? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
