General Hospital Spoilers: Michael’s Dangerous Move, Willow Blamed for Drew’s Shooting?

General Hospital spoilers and updates suggest that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) might be framing his ex-wife, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), as the one responsible for shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Let’s discuss what viewers can look forward to on the ABC soap in the upcoming days.

Anna And Chase Issue A Search Warrant

GH spoilers indicate that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Chase Harrison (Josh Swickard) are about to issue a search warrant for the Quartermaine residence soon.

The bullets found in Drew’s back were fired from a gun registered to Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle), making it logical to start there. However, Anna and Chase might not be able to search the property due to a mistake in the warrant.

Following the recent news that Veronica “Ronnie” Bard (Erika Slezak) inherited the Q estate from Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) will, she will review the warrant before allowing the search (as the official homeowner).

Yet, she will halt Anna when she sees that the PCPD made an error in the address number.

Ronnie Refuses Entry To Search,  Michael Has A Prime Opportunity To Set Someone Up

This will grant Ronnie the power to refuse entry. If Michael is the shooter and he’s still in possession of the gun at the Q mansion, this could be the perfect chance for him to set someone else up.

That someone has been a nuisance for him for quite a while,  betrayed him; that someone who stalked his newborn daughter to the point where her mother had to take her away.

That someone is his ex-wife, Willow, the mother of his two oldest kids-she’s also an easy target since she’s currently unstable and had a reason to shoot her former fiancé.

Michael Shocks Willow With His 180

By the end of the week, Michael will surprise Willow with the idea that she can see the kids. That is a total 180 degree turn for Michael, who has told people he felt Willow is dangerous! This is around the same time Anna will be issuing a search warrant for Elizabeth “Liz” Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) residence, where Willow is living.

In the GH weekly preview, Anna is shown holding what appears to be a gun wrapped in a white cloth. She will immediately invite Liz to the station; if the item Anna is holding is Edward’s gun, Liz will not be a suspect, but her new roommate will be!

Michael’s New Attitude Is Totally Out Of Left Field

Michael’s action to let Willow visit Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) is quite unexpected.

He’ll meet his ex at Liz’s home, so is this a tactic to distract Willow long enough to hide the gun used to shoot Drew? Michael is being very strategic regarding Drew’s shooting.

He hasn’t come forward to the police to admit he was at the scene when Drew was shot, has gladly accepted Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) offer to cover for him. Plus, he  is faking a relationship with escort Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) to strengthen his alibi.

Michael May Or May Not Have Shot Drew

Michael may not be the shooter of Drew, or he might be – that’s still to be determined. Yet, the fact that he’s willing to agree to visitation, despite no changes in Willow’s mental health or their co-parenting dynamics, seems dubious.

Is this part of a larger strategy to frame her for Drew’s shooting, or is it sincere? This could be a red herring meant to mislead fans about the true shooter, and Michael might genuinely want Willow to have time with Wiley and Amelia. If the gun is located at Liz’s residence, it could indicate someone is trying to set up the unstable mother, or she might actually be the one who shot Drew.
