General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Frantic, Time’s Run Out-Can Willow’s Life Be Saved?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is frantic, because he thinks Willow Tait Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) time’s run out. Not long after their quickie Quartermaine mansion wedding, she collapses and is hospitalized-with still no rescue of Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).

General Hospital Spoilers: Liesl Obrecht Still Captive On The Haunted Star

Liesl’s still captive on the Haunted Star and Willow, who’d previously been on home hospice, is now in General Hospital after collapsing, with no hope for another bone marrow donor. Michael is frantic, not even being sure that it might be too late for even a last minute save-Willow barely survived her caesarian section to give birth. How do they know she would even survive a bone marrow transplant, there are no guarantees; and she’s not doing well under maintenance chemotherapy either.

Michael hoped that the whole Haunted Star kidnapping mess would be over and done with by this time, but it seems to linger on and on. The location where the ship docked has been found, but the captives now seem to be in deep jungle on a remote island, only accessible by those who know the way.

GH Spoilers: How Will She Survive, Can She Hang On?

Michael fears Willow may not wake up this time, but, finally, she does-the question is, can she hang on long enough, and that’s a question that cannot easily be answered. She was already in end-stage leukemia when the bone marrow transplant was to have been performed, but now it cannot due to Liesl’s captivity, and there has been no contact.

The PCPD and WSB honestly don’t know if Liesl is even dead or alive; there has been no contact since Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) called on a satellite phone. The situation’s clear; Michael knows that Liesl didn’t just run off somewhere on purpose, thanks to Trina, they know Liesl as well as Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) Cassadine grandsons were kidnapped.

General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Tait Corinthos Must Choose, Then Makes A Request

It’s come down to the line for Willow, who while she has regained consciousness, remains on life support in GH, unable to breathe without a respirator. She wavers between bravery and fear, hope and resignation as time goes on, and fills out a DNR-Do Not Resuscitate form and signs it, and then she makes a request. She wants to talk to Nina Reeves, (Cynthia Watros) which thoroughly blindsides Michael and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), who don’t understand why she’d want to talk to someone everyone hates.

In an apparent attempt to make amends because she doesn’t want to live whatever time she has left in hate, she tells a grief-stricken Nina she has a request. Nina promises Willow she’ll call off her side of the war with Carly, whether Carly is willing to or not-Willow makes the same request with Carly.
