General Hospital spoilers reveal Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has been itching to break free of the confines of her current living situation. She’s held onto the place she made a home with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) for long enough now. It’s time to let go and spread her wings as she has three growing children who need space to flourish. At the same time, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is in over her head with a $5 million fine to pay to the SEC.
She’s not looking at the comfortable future she thought she would have in the home she also built with her former flame, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Instead, she needs to sell the house and downsize to make things work. Furthermore, she’ll need to start thinking about what comes next for her career-wise now that the Metro Court is a thing of her past. Will Carly and Maxie find a way to help each other out in the worst of times?
General Hospital Spoilers — Maxie is on the Move
Maxie is a realist. She knows she can’t hang onto that cozy apartment forever, but it’s a tough space to move on from. It feels as though some part of Nathan still lingers there, and it’s taken her this long to embrace the idea that Nathan lives in her memory, and in her son’s, rather than in a physical location. Nathan will always be with them wherever they go, and Maxie is ready to get going to someplace with room to breathe.
GH Spoilers Hint Carly is in Dire Straits
Meanwhile, Carly is struggling to see any other way to get herself out of this financial hole other than to sell the house. She can pay off the SEC with her savings, but she’ll have little left — unless she sells the house. Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) won’t be happy about it, but let’s be honest, Carly isn’t either. She has to do this in order to stay afloat and take care of her youngest child though. When she lists the house for sale, she’ll be stunned to get an offer from Maxie of all people. Maybe this will be a blessing neither of them saw coming though.
General Hospital Spoilers — Roommates?
Carly is pretty lonely these days since Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is off at prison for the next three years, and Maxie has pretty much written off dating for the foreseeable future after what went down with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). With both of these women focused on family first, maybe they can both stand to benefit if Maxie and her flock move in. Say what?
Carly never considered the idea of bringing roommates on board, but it could make sense since Joss is leaving this fall to share an on-campus place of her own with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Donna Corinthos (Grace Scarola) would love it having other kids to play with. Could this be a win-win where Carly reaps the benefits of rental income and Maxie gets the space she’s been craving with the kids? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this new living situation might shake out for these single moms.
