It’s quite suspicious that Josslyn was asked how she would react if she encountered the penthouse bomber, only to then come face to face with Brennan. This could suggest that Brennan himself is linked to the explosion.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) informed Sonny about a shipment of the explosive device that had gone missing from the WSB, indicating that someone with a motive to eliminate Sonny had acquired it.

However, Valentin could only reveal the name of the hired hitman, leaving the identity of the mastermind behind the attack a mystery.

Brennan May Have Made Sure To Cover His Tracks

Brennan may have gone to great lengths to conceal his actions and divert attention away from himself. However, Valentin’s account of the situation is questionable, especially since he deceived Sonny regarding other details during their discussion.
