General Hospital spoilers tease that Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is making his long-awaited return to Port Charles later this summer.
While he is certainly going to have reunions with his mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis), he ex Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and his son Aiden Webber (Tristan Riggs); there is still an important person in Lucky’s life who remains unable to complete their family reunion.
Now, he won’t be meeting with his older brother Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Adam Huss) either, it could still feasibly happen if Nikolas is released from prison. But Lucky has another sibling whose return is long overdue.
General Hospital Spoilers – Where is Lulu Spencer?
Lucku’s younger sister, Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan) was married to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) for several years before they ultimately divorced.
But they still loved each other and Lulu was about to admit her love for Dante right before tragedy struck. Lulu had been caught in an explosion at the Floating Rib and at first it seemed as if she was going to be ok.
But she suffered a brain injury and collapsed at General Hospital right before she was going to tell Dante she still loved him.
GH Spoilers – Lulu Spencer is still in a coma?
Lulu was taken into surgery and they repaired whatever damage they could but she fell into a coma and hasn’t woken up in all these years. Of course, Laura and Dante were devastated but eventually Lulu was sent to a long-term care facility where she has been ever since.
It’s unclear if Lucky has gone to see his sister while she’s been comatose but he’s certainly aware of what happened to her. And even though Laura seems to have forgotten, Lucky surely knows why Lulu was in that explosion in the first place.
General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault is the reason Lulu is comatose!
Laura’s newly discovered brother Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was once a full-fledged mob boss, specializing in drug trafficking. He ordered Julian Jerome (William Devry) to leave the bomb at the floating rib in order to kill Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
But Cyrus double-crossed Julian and detonated the bomb while the restaurant was full. Laura seems to have forgotten but Lucky most certainly won’t.
Look for an intense confrontation between Cyrus and Lucky upon Lucky’s return. But what about Lulu herself, is it about time she got her life back. Perhaps Lucky’s return is a good sign that Lulu is close behind.
What do you think?
Are you excited that Lucky is coming home? Is Lulu’s turn next? Will Laura ever remember that Cyrus is responsible for her daughter’s coma?
