General Hospital spoilers and updates tease given how Laura Collins (Genie Francis) reeled at Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) confession, can she ever forgive him?
Spencer’s done some pretty outrageous things in his life, even when he was a kid, but giving his baby brother to his father to go on the run is egregious!
General Hospital Spoilers: How Could You Do That?
Laura was nearly in shock when Spencer admitted he gave Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) to take on the run with him.
Spencer had realized Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) had gotten her memories back and with them, he feared she was the dangerous person she was before.
Esme had come seeking help from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to track down Nikolas and return their baby, and Cyrus called Laura and Spencer.
Cyrus, if he’s telling the truth, no longer has a network of henchmen all over the place who can look out for Nikolas, although he did say he had a couple. But the “contacts” he was referring to when he was talking to Esme may just have been Laura and Spencer.
GH Spoilers: Nikolas Cassadine Has Unlimited Resources To Stay On The Run
Nikolas has unlimited resources to stay on the run, and lots of secret places to hide-Laura’s not sure that his banker in Geneva will be able to help this time.
Nikolas never has revealed himself to his mother when he has touched base with others, and that’s disturbing, especially to Laura since he’s visited both Spencer and Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Perhaps Nikolas feared if he went to his mother, she may have tried to talk him into turning himself in like she did Esme for the Wyndemere break-in. Laura knew that Spencer wasn’t going to go to the police about his father, or about his giving Ace to Nikolas, and now Spencer’s in trouble.
General Hospital Spoilers: Forgiveness Depends
Forgiveness this time may depend on several different factors-one, of course, is Ace’s being returned safely and in good health physically and emotionally.
Spencer may not have thought that Ace would be old enough for it to do any emotional harm to hand him over to someone who, in essence, is a stranger.
This was the first time Nikolas had seen Ace and the first time Ace had seen him although he seemed to take to him and didn’t cry when he left.
As for Nikolas, life on the run with a baby may not be as easy as he thought. There are myriad chances for him be caught buying diapers or baby food, and he’ll have to have Ace with him-that’s what Laura’s counting on.
