Will he end up facing jail time for the crime? Let’s talk about it!
Justine Turner’s Impossible Position
General Hospital fans will recall that Justine had an interesting conversation with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) during the Tuesday, May 19 episode.
There’s no way she’ll be able to ignore Curtis’s case when it lands on her desk, and she talked to her love interest about the situation.
After all, Curtis was completely unreasonable when he confronted Isaiah Gannon (Swandi Wilson) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) at the Metro Court.
Sure, Isaiah did poke at Curtis by telling him he’d be a better father than him to his child; however, as Isaiah’s hand was injured badly in the assault, it’s clear that Curtis crossed a line.
Isaiah will go to the PCPD and pursue charges, and this could land Justine in a pickle. After all, she’s friends with Jordan, who’s going through a lot right now, post-car crash. Curtis is Jordan’s support system in her recovery, so Justine will feel conflicted about building a case against her partner.
Work Is Still Work
Even though Justine may feel “bad”, she’ll still move forward with prosecuting Curtis. Curtis was way out of line and should’ve kept his composure.
Jordan told Curtis last week that she didn’t believe Justine would bring a case forward against him, which is a tell-tale sign that the ADA will do just that.
This won’t only cause friction for the yoga buddies, but the entire thing is going to flip Curtis’s world upside down. He’s mad as it is that Isaiah isn’t being investigated as the car that left the scene of the crime during his car crash with Jordan.
Once Curtis finds out he’s being prosecuted for “assaulting” Isaiah, he’ll get that much more frustrated.
Still, Curtis’s punch likely triggered the end of Isaiah’s surgical career, as the man’s hand is fractured and will need a number of surgeries to heal. Curtis needs to face the repercussions for this.
Plus, Justine will need to be the prosecutor … after all, she and Jordan are just friends, while the assistant district attorney, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), was once married to Jordan’s son, so that wouldn’t work. Will yoga sessions turn awkward if Curtis heads to court … or even worse … jail!?
