General Hospital Spoilers: Joss Treads Into Dangerous Territory — But are Brennan’s Intentions Nefarious?

General Hospital Spoilers tease that Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) is waltzing into some pretty dangerous territory and no one knows what she’s up to.

In fact, Joss doesn’t even recognize what she may be getting herself into. Sure, she knows that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is a threat, but she is committed to serving Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in memory with her own form of justice.

She is convinced that Cyrus killed the man she loved, and she wants him to pay. Jack has recognized her passion project in the making — and he is fueling it by manipulating her into chasing after the maniacal killer on her own.

What are his reasons — and what do they say about Jack’s character?

General Hospital Spoilers — Naivete Rears Its Ugly Head

Joss may have entered adulthood a few years ago by all legal counts, but she’s hardly got the experience necessary under her belt to pick up on the nuanced tone and demeanor that the federal agent is toting around when he gives her intel on a case that isn’t his.

Certainly, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) would not be happy to know that Jack is encouraging Joss to chase down leads that actually led her straight to Cyrus’ door, but he’s hoping Joss knows that and won’t catch on.

Furthermore, ingratiating her to his charms also gives him insurance that she won’t balk at her mother for coupling up with yet another dangerous man.

GH Spoilers Leak Sonny May Be the Long Game

The most obvious reason that Jack would be leading Joss to seek vengeance on Cyrus is because he wants her to end up in legal trouble.

Why would that help Jack? Because he and every other federal agent knows now that Carly won’t necessarily roll over on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) — the real bad guy they want. Joss could end up being collateral damage in this fight though.

General Hospital Spoilers — Jackly Can’t Survive

Carly isn’t Sonny’s number one fan anymore, but he’s still the father of her children. Nevertheless, if it comes down to Sonny going to prison, or Carly, neither of them will choose the latter.

But Joss is a different story. What would Carly do if Joss was at risk of going away for good and the feds were willing to strike a deal and let her go if Carly turned on Sonny?

This is a set of circumstances we’ve yet to see any law enforcement agent pull on her. Things are about to get interesting, and we can rest assured that Carly’s broken heart won’t let her ever look at Jack the same again.

But is he a bad guy, or is he being forced to put her and Joss in this position? While it seems like he may not always like the person he is — largely because of this job — he also seems to relish every opportunity he gets to toy with Joss and push her closer to danger.

Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this shakes out for everyone involved.
