General Hospital Spoilers: Jordan’s Reaction Stuns Curtis — Is He Pulling Back and Hiding the Truth?

General Hospital spoilers say Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) could hardly contain herself when Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) told her what really happened the night of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting. At least, she thinks that’s what he told her, but he may have altered the facts to suit his own agenda.

Curtis was bullish with Detective Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and didn’t appreciate being grilled like a criminal. At the same time, he’s clearly been making some pretty criminal moves.

Curtis might have thought he and Jordan have come far enough that he could confide in her, and if her reaction surprised him, he might have recoiled and backpedaled on his story — even if it wasn’t true. What do you think? Is Curtis lying?

Now that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is moving on too, making her marriage to Curtis officially over, Jordan and Curtis are this close to finding out whether they can go the distance — and Curtis almost blew it.

GH Spoilers Claim Curtis Too Things a Step Too Far

Sitting down at the Savoy, Curtis seemed all too eager to lay it all out for Jordan. He didn’t want to keep anything from her when they were just starting over.

Transparency is important to him, and she should have respect for that at this point. Still, he caught her completely off guard when he revealed that he lied to the police about his whereabouts that evening. Sure, he was at the club, but he wasn’t alone.

Meeting with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to hire her to kill Drew was the last thing Jordan was expecting Curtis to tell her he was up to that night — just hours before someone shot him.

Her reaction told him everything he needed to know. She instantly moved from being in his corner, or being furious with him for making her an accomplice after the fact. Maybe Curtis realized he took things too far and decided to try to take it all back?

Reeling It In

As soon as Jordan told Curtis this wasn’t like him — that she knew him and knew he couldn’t be the type of man who orders someone else’s death — she sort of opened the door for him to change his mind. Telling her she was right eased her fears at that moment.

Telling her he couldn’t actually go through with it changed the tension in the room and undid the damage he just caused by being uber honest. But was it authentic, or was Curtis just trying to patch things up? It’s entirely possible he did pay Selina to kill Curtis, and Jordan may soon find herself wondering which version of his story she believes. Which one do you believe?
