Josslyn Was Recruited By Her Mother’s Now Boyfriend-Actually, Blackmailed!
GH viewers will recall that Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) actually blackmailed Josslyn into the WSB in a sense-he covered up her self-defense killing of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
She had to join the WSB for the secret to be kept, and he put her through the training she needed to become a full WSB agent. Currently, Josslyn is misleading all her close ones as she embarks on her first major mission, but complications may be on the horizon.
By assigning Josslyn to the investigation of Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard), Brennan has unintentionally placed her in Jason’s line of sight. This is due to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) also assigning Jason to look into Professor Dalton.
Jason Will Likely Bust Josslyn In The Act Of Carrying Out Her Mission
Naturally, Jason has already shown some skepticism regarding Josslyn’s Easter Island tale, which GH fans are aware was merely a facade for her time spent at a WSB training facility. The show has been setting the stage, so it’s quite possible that Jason will uncover the truth about Josslyn’s hidden career.
If that occurs, Josslyn might beg Jason to remain silent, but will her plea be granted? Jason is adept at keeping secrets in specific circumstances, yet he prefers not to hide them from Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) whenever possible.
Still, Jason managed to keep Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) being the actual father of Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) baby under wraps for some time.
Sasha’s And Josslyn’s Secrets Are Two Different Situations
Josslyn may wish for Jason to safeguard her secret as well, but she could be in for a harsh reality check. Jason chose to conceal the paternity to safeguard Michael’s chances of custody; his priority was always what was best for Michael – even if it required deceiving Carly temporarily. Regarding Josslyn’s secret, Jason might feel he cannot remain silent.
This situation places Josslyn in significant peril – and on top of that, Brennan is keeping a major secret from Carly while in a relationship with her. Consequently, Jason might utter six words that Josslyn absolutely dreads: “You have to tell your mom;” and if she refuses, he might do it for her!
