General Hospital Spoilers: Jason and Elizabeth Headed for a Romantic Reunion?

General Hospital Spoilers report Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herst) go way back, and it’s safe to say they’ll likely never part ways after all that they’ve been through.

Elizabeth was the perfect nurse to be on staff and in Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) room at the time of her death, because she was just the right person to look into Jason’s eyes when he heard that Sam was gone.

The compassion in her face was unmatched, as it was when she sat across from him at the Brown Dog Bar. Calling him there for a drink and just to check up on him, it was clear that these two have a special friendship that has stood the test of time.

But Elizabeth seems to be concerned that Jason will talk himself out of being the primary caretaker for his own son, and it could be her advocacy for him on this front that pulls them back together in a way no one will see coming.

General Hospital Spoilers — Elizabeth Has Been Known to Play Stepmommy

Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) was pretty clear with Jason that he hopes he can stay with Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) now that his mom is gone.

Just because he lost her doesn’t mean he wants to lose his entire family. But Jason may have other plans in mind, and it certainly seems that Elizabeth does. She doesn’t want Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) or anyone else stepping on Jason’s toes and robbing him of the chance to be with his son.

Will she step in and try to make Jason’s life more family-oriented if she thinks it’ll bring Danny closer?

GH Spoilers Tease It’s a Vulnerable Time for Everyone

No one would be surprised if Jason and Elizabeth fell back together right now. She may be well on her way over her break-up from Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), but Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) just came home and has announced to her that he’s planning to leave again — abandoning Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy) in the process.

Maybe an instant family is just the ticket Elizabeth needs to distract herself from the fact that Lucky was never going to deliver that. At the same time, Jason didn’t exactly have Sam, but he has lost her. Coping with that would be easier with someone else by his side through it.

General Hospital Spoilers — Jason May Have Some Competition

That being said, Lucky says he’s leaving right now –but all of that could change soon. Rumor has it Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins) is slated to wake up this month after four long years in a coma.

Right now, Lucky thinks he’s headed back to Africa to play hero to other people. He doesn’t feel that kind of love in Port Charles and sadly, his son isn’t enough to keep him around.

But when Lulu wakes up, he could change his mind about ditching his family if he suddenly feels needed by them.

Will that mean Elizabeth’s efforts to help Jason will fall by the wayside should Lucky “need” her again? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
