General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that soap vet James Patrick Stuart is coming back to PC as Valentin Cassadine, and fans could not be happier. The last time we saw the rogue spy he was taken to Steinmauer for his just desserts.
Now, TV Insider reports that the bad guy is headed home. Let’s unpack what this entails going forward.
Valentin Cassadine Returns
With Valentin coming back, can his dear daughter Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) be far behind? Charlotte was a manipulative child who has turned into a manipulative young person.
Leave it to her to discover a way to manipulate her bond with Papa Valentin!
At the same time, we can expect Valentin to have a larger full of bombshells plus an unexpected alliance. Going forward, we can say that Valentin’s roller coaster life is off in a new direction.
Valentin Comes Back to GH
Valentin has a new partner in crime and eventually he escapes, either legitimately or illegally. He has a long history with current WSB chief Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and he wants to even the score.
We suspect that Brennan will be taken by surprise since Valentin has mad spy skills. At the same time, Brennan is so enamored with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) that he can’t think straight.
Given the cast of characters, we predict that good old Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) gets caught up in the action, too.
It remains to be seen if Anna sides with Valentin or tries to thwart him. They also have a torrid past, and it should be interesting to see her have a love interest after a disastrous semi-flirtation with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Can Anna Rescue Valentin?

They absolutely need to reunite Valentin with Anna. He is a welcomed come back. I only hope they can redeem him fully since it is obvious Brenan did horrible crimes and is free nd Val was a scapegoat. Be nice to have a solid couple on th show and spymance again. All for the action.
