General Hospital spoilers squeal John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) shared a moment at the cemetery on Karen Wexler’s (Marie Wilson) birthday.
Realizing they were both on the same side still — the side that is firmly against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) — Jagger may come to call on Scott soon, surprising them both.
A recent incident with Sonny at his gym has Jagger thinking it may be time for payback. Sonny’s attempt to bait him almost worked, but he won’t get that lucky twice.
With Jagger and Scott still carrying the weight of Karen’s death, they’ll work together to bring Sonny down. But how will this time be any better than the many attempts that have come before?
General Hospital Spoilers — Foreshadowing Tells a Story
Sonny hit the nail on the head when he told Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zaprogna) that Jagger wouldn’t hesitate to watch him get shot and bleed out.
That’s just the kind of scheme Jagger conveyed to Scott earlier that day. As an FBI agent, he has plenty of room to finesse the situation and make it look like nothing could be done to save Sonny if he came under fire.
Furthermore, it’s only a matter of time before he does come under fire, organically.
GH Spoilers Attest Scott Isn’t as Bitter
Expect to see more accidental bump-ins between Scott and Jagger, and possibly a few that aren’t so accidental. Scott was happy to see Jagger, even though the memory of his daughter and their divorce leaves a bitter taste in his mouth.
Will helping to bring justice to Karen’s disastrous life and untimely demise make Scott feel any better about losing his daughter?
Is there any way to bring about that justice without taking Sonny’s life in a game of an eye for an eye? Scott may be angling to get the guy put away for good, but Jagger is looking for a lot more than that.
General Hospital Spoilers — Can Jagger Pull It Off?
Scott may not have the cojones to suggest Sonny should be wiped off the face of the Earth, but Jagger is boasting like he does. When he first came to town, he was clear that he thought Sonny belonged behind bars.
But the more they scuffle over the darkness of the past, the more it’s going to bleed into the future. As Jagger grows more bitter, he might not want Sonny behind bars nearly as much as he wants him six feet under ground.
But will he sell his soul to make it happen in the name of righting the wrongs of Karen’s death, and Michael ‘Stone’ Cates’ (Michael Sutton)? Keep checking back with us for more General Hospital news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
