General Hospital: An Actual Romance For Jason?
Since Steve Burton returned to the role of Jason Morgan last year, the only person he even kissed was Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) when Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) held them hostage in Africa.
They agreed to forget about that moment as fans screamed foul all over social media, but Anna and Jason’s friendship has not waned. In fact, it has actually grown stronger.
Now, Anna’s relationship with Jason and other members of the Port Charles criminal establishment is coming into question. She can’t seem to stay away from men like Jason, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and even Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan).
Now, ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor) is investigating her and Anna needs to make sure she is never seen with Jason in public — at least for now.
Will Jason’s Solution Lead to Passion?
Jason and Anna don’t want to end their friendship or stop working together on cases so Jason suggested that he and Anna meet in the room he still rents above Bobbie’s. He now lives in the Q mansion, but that does not men he doesn’t have a clandestine meeting spot.
Could one thing lead to another in that room, meaning Anna would sleep with a man Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) was once involved with as a teenager? That would certainly add an ick factor to all this, but GH might be going there.
We thought something might happen between Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Jason, but this new development with Anna could take Sasha’s story in a whole other direction.
Perhaps Jason will confide in Anna about the situation with Sasha and admit that he is not the father of her baby — Michael Corinthos is.
That could give Anna food for thought and a reason why she might just choose to throw caution to the wind with Jason.
GH has already thrown pairings together that the audience could hate — Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) come to mind — so why not gamble again with Jason and Anna?
