General Hospital Spoilers: Is The New Lawyer Just What The Doctor Ordered?
General Hospital spoilers reveal that there is a new man in town and he could be just what the doctor ordered. Has Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) found the man that will make him forget all about Brad Cooper (Parry Shen)? Can the new lawyer in town mend Lucas’ broken heart and give him a new life without Brad?
Port Charles Scores A New Lawyer
According to TV Insider, Adrian Anchondo has been cast in a new contract role as a lawyer named Marco. Adrian actually debuted in the Thursday, March 13 episode.
This is the actors first role in daytime as well as his first role playing an attorney. However, he has plenty of experience in primetime series such as How to Get Away With Murder, The Rookie, and Law & Order: Organized Crime.
Anchondo admitted to TV Insider, “I don’t think I’ve ever played a lawyer. I’ve definitely been on the other end from Viola Davis grilling me on How to Get Away with Murder, so that’ll take getting used to.” Since Anchondo screen tested with Van Hansis, i may be safe to assume that he is Lucas’ new love interest.
Should Lucas Jones Be Very Careful Around Marco?
Anchondo described Marco as “very sweet and charming, and, of course, it wouldn’t be a soap opera without dark secrets somewhere.
He’s also very intelligent and very articulate, which is kind of opposite of who I am as a person.” He and Lucas obviously have a connection but no sense in jumping from one questionable relationship to another.
Lucas and Brad had just admitted to still having feelings for each other when Brad decided to do the one thing Lucas always asked and be honest with him. Unfortunately, that didn’t get them very far considering that Brad hasn’t changed nearly as much as Lucas had hoped. Brad is still blackmailing other people to get what he wants.
Marco Can’t Be Worse Than Brady Cooper Right?
While everyone in Port Charles has a secret or two, this fellow could follow Lucas home to Port Charles and may be more dangerous than ever.
Lucas has started out giving a bit of information about himself that could have waited until they got to know each other a little better, but hey they could never see each other again either.
If Anchondo is any indication of how this relationship will go, he sounds pretty optimistic. “the new role lets him reconnect with Hansis who, Anchondo shared, he first met 20 years ago at the Williamstown Theater Festival. “It’s funny because I remember having a little crush on him back then, and we’ve been in the same circles because we have mutual friends. So, I felt totally comfortable.” Lucas may be saying Brad Who any day now.
