General Hospital Spoilers tease Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has been known to spend a significant amount of time rebounding from the men who break her heart.
A serial relationship kind of gal, Elizabeth has rarely jumped into bed or anything deep with a man when she’s still letting her heart mend from the last heartbreak.
But something tells us this time around could be different. If she does break with her normal pattern of behavior, will she skip right over the rebound period from Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and fall into the arms of someone else she has trusted more all along — someone like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton)?
General Hospital Spoilers — Elizabeth Isn’t Really “Done” With Finn
Elizabeth may have called it quits on her relationship with Finn when she walked in on him drunk and making out with another woman, but that doesn’t mean she’s done with him on every level.
She may not see a future for them, romantically, but she is more concerned than ever about her niece, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love). It’s unlikely that Elizabeth is going to let Finn’s rebuttal of her suggestion to take Violet for even one night get in the way of her continuing to push for a relationship with her sister’s daughter.
This means she’ll have to maintain some kind of contact with Finn, which may mean she will need more support as she continues to deal with him.
GH Spoilers Suggest Jason Came to Her Rescue Once
When Elizabeth was headed to Finn’s after Jake Spencer (Hudson West) relayed that he saw Finn leaving a bar with a woman on his arm and clearly intoxicated, he thought it was best to make sure his mom has backup going into the fire.
Knowing that Finn had fallen off the wagon, Jake wasn’t sure what to expect but he didn’t want his mom to be in harm’s way. Sending his own dad — Jason — in to tail Elizabeth and make sure she stayed safe was a heartwarming move on Jake’s part, but what did it mean that Jason showed up for her?
General Hospital Spoilers — Will He Do It Again?
We suspect Elizabeth is only beginning down a very long road with Finn, and one in which she might end up battling him for custody of his daughter.
Will Jason end up being the best friend she can continue to vent to as he offers no unsolicited advice and merely listens? Is he just what she needs at a time like this?
Is a relationship with Elizabeth what will keep Jason occupied while he steers clear of romance with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) due to his current ties to the FBI? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this shakes out.
