General Hospital Spoilers: Is Cyrus a Threat to Lulu’s Safety and Well-Being?
General Hospital spoilers reveal Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has been clinging to the hope that his sister — Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) — will eventually see the light and let him into her life in some meaningful way.
Laura, on the other hand, still can’t convince herself that Cyrus’ change in behavior is authentic. He claims to have found the Lord and changed his ways, wanting to serve God instead of man and abide by religious morals above and beyond even earth-bound laws.
But he also still wears on her nerves and makes her question him. Recently, she felt that way again upon finding him visiting Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins) without her consent.
Since then, she’s made it clear she doesn’t want him to without asking permission first. Still, he has continued to sit with his niece, who is only in that hospital bed because he ordered Julian Jerome (William deVry) to plant a bomb in the Floating Rib. Now, Cyrus is promising to take care of Lulu. Just what does that mean?
General Hospital Spoilers — Cyrus Keeps Pushing
Despite Laura’s many attempts to calm Cryus’ efforts to weasel his way back into her life, he has resisted abiding by her rules and guardrails she puts in place to keep distance between them.
He shows up at her penthouse apartment unannounced. He offers his sympathy and condolences any time something goes wrong — knowing that makes it that much harder for her to dismiss him.
He milks every opportunity to show up in her life and pray, which she would look foolish and crass to refuse, but it does seem like she wants to. Will she take any chances with her daughter when Lulu finally wakes up and comes back to her family?
GH Spoilers Hint He Could Be Up to No Good
Is it possible that all of this time Lulu has been sleeping and healing, that Cyrus has been trying to manipulate her thoughts? He claims that he sits with her and reads the scriptures of The Bible, but could he also be trying to plant seeds and alter her perception of him, of others around her, of what happened to her, or even of how she feels about herself?
Will she wake up ready to take mercy on him and grow her relationship with him? Was his goal always to try to co-opt the situation so that he could influence his niece’s relationships with the rest of her family — a family that has largely rejected him?
General Hospital Spoilers — What Lies Ahead for Lulu and Her Uncle?
How will Lulu react to Cyrus? Depending on what he’s been potentially planting in her mind while she’s been in a coma, we have no idea what Lulu is in for as she embarks upon her recovery from this four-year-long hiatus.
Her mother is likely to be shocked if Lulu chooses to embrace her sinister uncle. After all, she didn’t know much that was good about him before she was injured.
Is it possible that she will see the good in him and forgive him? If so, will Laura respect that or try to warn her daughter to keep her distance? It doesn’t sound like Cyrus has any intentions of doing that. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
