General Hospital’s Jason has been played by Steve for decades. Fans have learned to love the man that Jason became after the accident that left him with a traumatic brain injury.
Now that Jason is older, he is starting to change just a bit here and there. At one time, Jason would have never sided with the Quartermaine family on anything.
Jason has taken over the mob business several times over the years. However, now that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is dead, Jason has his son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonzyn) to think of and he needs to put him first.
Jason cannot afford to put himself in more danger by becoming more involved in the mob because of the danger Danny would be in as well.
GH Spoilers: Jason Morgan Has Spent Little Time With Danny Morgan
Jason has spent very little time with Danny since he was born. As a matter of fact, Jason wasn’t even there for Sam and Danny before he was born. Jason was shot and disappeared for five years the day he and Sam brought Danny home after finding out that Heather Webber (Allie Mills) had kidnapped him.
Jason chose to put his family above Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) again when Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) asked Jason to choose Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) over Sonny.
Sonny and Carly Spencer wanted to take Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) away from the Quartermaines and Jason refused.
General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan Is Being Pulled Toward His Family
Jason is being pulled more toward his family now that he has lost Sam. This is a change for Jason because he never got along with the Quartermaines after his brain injury.
However, Monica has made an effort to get along with Jason and be in his life all of this time. Sam helped to make their relationship work as well.
Jason’s changes certainly has Jason’s fans buzzing on social media. Some fans have thought for years that Jason never made any decision for himself and he is proving them wrong now.
Perhaps being forced to spend eight years away from his family has given him time to have a change of heart. It is nice to see Jason becoming more of a family man than he has ever been before. Too bad Jason wasn’t written this way when he and Sam could have been together.
