General Hospital Spoilers: If Gio is Brook Lynn’s Son, Does Dante Know He’s His Father?

General Hospital Spoilers leak Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) has been under a cloud of mystery ever since he first came to Port Charles.

The stories of him losing both of his parents have twisted the hearts of all who’ve heard them. Even still, the fans can’t help but question whether there is more to the story.

With Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) hinting around recently to a shared secret in their past that they don’t want to come to light.

The timeline of their hook-up could be tweaked enough to claim Gio is actually their child. It seems like Brook Lynn may even know that’s the case, which would explain a lot about her family’s care and oversight of the child all these years. But what does that mean for Dante?

General Hospital Spoilers — Brook Lynn Went Away

Brook Lynn and Dante were friends, then foes for quite a long time before making peace and moving forward as step-siblings. Yeah, let’s not focus on the family ties today and how they would complicate these two having a child together.

Recall that after Brook Lynn’s ploy with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to tear Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) and Dante apart, she didn’t stick around very long before heading back toward New York City to work on her music career.

Could she have given birth without anyone back home knowing — except for maybe one person?

GH Spoilers Tease Lois and Sonny Kept a Secret

Obviously, Lois would have to have been on board with helping her daughter through this mess. Also, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could have come into play as the benefactor that he is because he cared for Brook Lynn.

Maybe they wanted the Cassadine family kept out of Gio’s life. It would make sense that Sonny wouldn’t want Nikolas anywhere near Brook Lynn and her baby.

It’s probable that the only way Brook Lynn could have hidden her child from Nikolas was to hide it from herself too.

Did she give Gio up for someone else to raise — that mother who taught him beautiful music and later died — to keep him safe from Nikolas, or was this always about giving herself a chance to make music too and not being ready for a child at the time?

Dante could be Gio’s dad — if the two actually ever hooked up. At the time back in 2010, we were led to believe it was all for show to convince both Lulu and Dante that something happened when it didn’t.

Could the secret Dante and Brook Lynn have been living with be that they did actually sleep together? If so, does Dante know Brook Lynn got pregnant? Maybe, but it’s also possible that she conceived Gio just weeks later when she got involved with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).
