Why he waited so many months to show up in Port Charles to look for her was a mystery, only to find out that she had died in childbirth.
But he knew exactly where to go to see her and which lawyer he needed to contact to stake his claim.
There’s every indication that the person Hudson has been in contact with all these months, and the reason for him following Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard) to Oslo, Norway, and beating him up, was Jude!

They seem more like siblings than boss and employee, and he does appear to be a bit older, maybe by as much as ten years.
In fact, Hudson’s possible secret connection to Josslyn has already raised questions about whether Jax could have another child.
Jasper Jacks’ (formerly Ingo Rademacher) first wife, Miranda Jameson (Leslie Horan), tried to get him back after being found and contacted by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to break up Jax and Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil).
It’s possible Jax and Miranda could have been Hudson’s parents, with Jax never knowing and Miranda giving him up for adoption.
Miranda had extreme physical challenges after an accident in which she’d been presumed dead, so that definitely could have happened.
Could Both Hudson And Jude Be Jerry Jacks’ Sons?
Another possibility is that both Hudson and Jude are Jerry Jacks’ (Sebastian Roché) sons, making Hudson Josslyn’s cousin.
From what Josslyn told Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), she hadn’t known about Jude until Jax told her. That was at least before she got drafted into JJE, and Jax had warned her about him.
But with Hudson possibly adopted, Jax may not have known about him at all.
Or perhaps Hudson wormed his way into the company under false pretenses and a false name, possibly with Jerry behind it, or maybe Jude.

I think there’s definitely more to Hudson than meets the eye, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he turns out to be another member of the Jacks family. The possibility that he’s Jude’s son is especially interesting, but I’m not ruling out Jax having a secret child either.
