General Hospital Spoilers: How Will Curtis and Portia Deal with Nina’s Cold-Hearted Betrayal?

General Hospital spoilers leak Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) would never have imagined that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) would betray his trust and his family as much as she just has.

Desperate to give the police another possible person of interest in the case of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting that isn’t Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis aren’t likely to let this one slide. Sure, it’s a bit tit for that, but it’s a bit imbalanced, too.

How will Curtis and Portia deal with the fallback as they learn of Nina’s betrayal?

Mother Knows Best

Anyone could have seen this coming. Nina will do anything to protect her children. She has proven that. Like it or not, she’s not always the most ethical about the way she negotiates what works for her.

This time around, she wanted to protect Willow, and she did so by making sure the PCPD knew of Portia’s blackmail issue with Drew — giving her motive to have wanted him dead. Furthermore, Portia doesn’t have an alibi for the night Drew was shot in the back twice in his own living room.

Could it be that Nina has learned it was Curits who told Willow the truth about her tryst with Drew, and now she’s seeking vengeance? An eye for an eye, Nina?

GH Spoilers Suggest Curtis Could Cut Ties

Curtis and Nina go way back, so some of us are a little worried that this could drive a wedge between them that becomes lasting. We want to see Curtis stand strong against Nina.

At the same time, we all know he did her dirty first, and he knows it too! Is it wrong that Nina didn’t maintain her loyalty to him after he had breached his for her? Curtis will be the judge of that. Might he seek to make Nina pay for what she’s done to Portia after this?

Portia Doesn’t Need Anybody’s Help

Portia’s life is slowly spiraling out of control. She just got done being blackmailed, and now she is feeling more trapped than ever in a situation where she might hurt every single person she loves.

If she learns of what Nina did throwing her under the bus, she just may retaliate. It wouldn’t be outside of Portia’s character at all — especially toward other women.

Could Portia and Curtis band together to get revenge on Nina, and if so, will their shared hate and betrayal be a catalyst for considering sticking it out in their marriage? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
