General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) could backfire spectacularly, and probably already has! Even though it looked like it drove Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) away from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) for good, Willow finds herself doubting her distrust of him.
Am I An Idiot For Trusting Drew?
A recent GH preview showed Willow doubting herself to Nina, asking her if she was an idiot for believing Drew, that he would have never cheated on her intentionally.
They then went together to the hospital where Drew had himself checked to see if someone had drugged him.
He showed positive for ketamine, a recreational drug-the one that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) procured for Jacinda (Paige Herschell) who Nina hired to play-seduce him.
This was a very similar trick to what Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) did when she crawled in bed naked with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and it appeared they had sex. If Drew can convince Willow he was drugged and it wasn’t his idea, she may forgive him and get closer to him!
Thinking Outside The Box
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) had to get creative and take bold action—after all, when the situation is dire, one must act decisively.
She decided to break away from Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), who was ready to assist her in confronting Drew, and took the initiative on her own; their shared goal was to rescue Willow from Drew’s grasp.
It was at this point that Nina joined forces with Portia and enlisted Jacinda’s help to orchestrate a scheme against the Congressman, aiming for his downfall. Jacinda, a seasoned escort, presented an irresistible opportunity for Nina, who planned to use her to fabricate evidence of Drew’s infidelity towards Willow.
Nina’s Plan Backfires, Willow Gets Closer To Drew?
Uh-oh! It seems that what unfolds next isn’t quite what Nina envisioned-the situation appears grim for Willow’s mother and even for Portia.
Despite his setbacks, Drew Cain continues to come out on top; upcoming spoilers for the ABC soap suggest that Nina’s scheme to separate Willow from Drew backfires spectacularly. Initially, she arranged for someone to entrap the Congressman, leading Willow to believe he had been unfaithful—an acceptable strategy, perhaps.
However, Nina never anticipated that the hired companion would take things further than intended. All she needed was the illusion of a scandalous evening that Willow would find unforgettable, especially when she walks in on the aftermath.
