General Hospital spoilers tease that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) had no idea until recently that Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) had been working on her behalf regarding her legal standing and criminal sentence.
As viewers know, Heather has committed several terrible crimes over the last several years. She even took on a serial killer identity as “The Hook”. But despite committing several murders, there has been recent evidence that Heather may not have been in complete control of her actions.
General Hospital Spoilers – Heather Webber has cobalt poisoning!
Heather was recently diagnosed with cobalt poisoning from a defective hip replacement she had many years ago, although Heather can’t remember exactly when the procedure happened.
Heather has become much more rational ever since she had the defective hip replaced. So Laura decided to look into Heather’s legal standing and her sentencing.
If her condition had been taken into consideration at the time, her case might have turned out differently. Laura seems determined to have Heather’s case re-opened, taking her medical issues into account.
GH Spoilers – The Invader leaked Laura Collins plans
Unfortunately, a leak in the Mayor’s Office went to the Invader with a sensationalized view of Laura’s plan. The Invader made it look like Laura simply wanted Heather to go free.
That’s not necessarily what Laura is wanting. All she’s doing is requesting a judge look at her case taking the cobalt poisoning into account. Up until that point, Heather had no idea that Laura was doing any of that on her behalf. Surprisingly, she wasn’t happy about it at all.
General Hospital Spoilers – Heather Webber wants Laura Webber to stop!
Look for Heather to have another visitor at Pentonville in the coming days. Heather may summon Laura and demand she stop nosing into her case. Heather doesn’t feel she deserves anything better than what she’s been given, regardless of the cobalt poisoning.
Especially when there are plenty of people who Heather victimized, most specifically Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Perhaps Laura will once again reach out to Trina to give her a better understanding of Heather’s situation.
Whether or not Trina changes her position regarding Heather remains to be seen.
